Autumn Days: Half Term in France

One of the wonderful things about having a campervan is that our camping season is so much ,on her than when we used to use a tent. We would never have slept under canvas in the last days of October! This year we chose to pop across the channel to spend some time in the Paris area. We stayed near the town of Rambouillet to the west of the city and enjoyed a lovely few days walking in the forest and the gardens of the Chateau.

Before we came home, we’d thought we’d better visit the European branch of the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’! We’ve been before, but only in the winter and we didn’t enjoy the much longer queues this time, but had lots of fun, particularly those of us who had grown enough to get on to Space Mountain this time!

And so exhausted after our exploits, we headed back to Blighty for the rest of the half-term holiday and Halloween!
